The measurement of both BCOR and diameter is exactly the same as the JCF. However, this instrument is designed for the practitioner who wishes to check soft contact lenses to assist in better fitting. As can be seen in Fig. 10, the design layout of the optics is simplified to reduce costs. The Chiltern cannot be used with the TC20 or TCU cooling instruments.
